If youŽve ever struggled with your hoop, or hooped things that donŽt belong (like your sweater), then say goodbye to the days of hooping frustrations. The hoop spreader spreads embroidery hoops to make hooping easier. Simply place the spring over the hoop tension screw between the screw mounts, then use the tension screw to set the size of the opening. These unassuming little springs keep the outer hoop open while you push the inner hoop in. The cone shape allows the spring to coil into itself for tighter hoop tension when needed. YouŽll use less force and have more control over your hooping. Using the hoop spreader springs lets you spend more time embroidering and less time wrestling with your hoops. 3/16" W x 3/8" L. 4 springs/pkg.

This is a simple, inexpensive solution to keeping those embroidery machine hoops open just enough to ease the inner hoop in place. I don't need more complicated and expensive hooping equipment. I recommmend trying the simplest solution first. I gave it 4 out of 5 because I would like the option to have more springs in a pack. They do have a way of rolling off tables and finding their way under heavy piece of furniture.
