GO! Irish Chain Die – Create Perfect 10" Blocks in One Pass
The classic Irish Chain quilt block is beloved for its simple, interlocking design and its ability to shine in both traditional and modern quilting styles. With the GO! Irish Chain Block on Board® (BOB®) Die, you can cut an entire 2-color 10" finished block in a single pass—accurately, quickly, and effortlessly.
This die includes 5 precision shapes that are normally time-consuming to cut by hand. Each shape is screen-printed and includes ¼" seam allowances and specialized dog-ears for cleaner piecing and perfect alignment every time.

How to Cut a 2-Color Irish Chain Block
For best results, always position fabric on the lengthwise grain as it goes under the roller. Tip: This die is specially designed to cut all pieces for one 2-color 10" block in one pass.
Fabric Color 1
- Cut one 4 3/8" square — place right side up over Shape A to cut 1 piece.
- Cut four 4 7/8" x 2 3/4" rectangles — place right side up over Shapes B to cut 8 pieces.
Fabric Color 2
- Cut four 11 3/4" x 2 3/4" rectangles — place right side up over Shapes C & D to cut 4 of each shape.

Die Cutting Tips
- A thread or two may remain where blades intersect—just snip with scissors.
