- Thread box is mostly transparent (picture has a red tint because of the backgrouind)
- Perfect for most specialized spools.
- Isacord mini-king-sized spools DO NOT FIT. Their base is too large.

For years I have hunted for containers to hold sewing thread spools(Coats&Clark type--not embroidery) and their matching bobbins. THIS IS IT! Each little compartment holds a regular OR large spool(diameter a little less than one and a half inches) and its bobbin. When closed, it goes nowhere. And no hunting for the right color bobbin--it's with the spool. The only thing is---this is advertised as 48 compartments per container. Mine have 22 small compartments and one undivided, doubled compartment---per side of the container. But if it's not important to you to have exactly 48 small compartments--you're going to love this!!!
