So You Want To Return Something, Huh?
All returns must be approved and be issued a return authorization number. If an item is sent back without prior authorization, a $15 handling charge will be incurred in addition to any restocking fees and substantial delays in a credit can -follow. Requesting an authorization can be done by calling us at 1-866-739-2568. All credits will be issued as store credit. These credits do not expire.
You may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Sewforless.com within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, minus any shipping costs. Shipping is non-refundable. If the item was shipped initially under a free shipping promotion, regular ground delivery costs will be deducted from the refund.
All returns must be in the factory sealed box with the seal unbroken. If the seal has been broken a partial refund may be issued. In general, any opened merchandise will be issued a store credit only, minus a 20% restocking fee (minimum of $7). If any items are missing out of the packaging, replacement fees will be assessed appropriately. All returns are subject to inspection before store credit is given.
You should expect to receive your store credit within four weeks of giving the package to the return shipper. In many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. You will receive a copy of your refund credit in the mail.
PLEASE NOTE: REFUSED SHIPMENTS WILL BE BILLED BOTH SHIPPING TO AND RETURNING SHIPPING, AS UPS BILLS US FOR A RETURN SHIPPING COST.
IF THE SHIPMENT WAS SHIPPED UNDER A FREE SHIPPING PROMOTION, ORIGINAL SHIPPING COSTS WILL ALSO BE DEDUCTED FROM THE REFUND.
Some items may incur a 20% restocking fee (minimum of $7) if you decide to return them. These items include, but are not limited to:
- Sewing and embroidery machines
- Embroidery machine hoops
- Any embroidery blanks
- Acrylic Embroidery Blanks
- Any other item that specifies on the item description page
Certain items may not be returned. These items include:
- Kiwi Embroidery Paper
- Thread Charts
- Any cut fabric or fabric that is "by the yard"
- Thread of any kind
- Sewing Machine and Embroidery Feet
- Sewing/Embroidery cabinets
- Embroidery stabilizer that has been opened or partially used
- Any aerosol products (505, 404, etc.)
Because of the nature of the product, manufacturers do not allow exchanges or refunds on software or embroidery designs. If the software is defective, an exchange will be made only for the same product.

There are no returns on items shipped to destinations outside of the United States, and as such, all purchases are final.
