Embroidery Hood and Thread Stand |
| By beverly from Hood River, Oregon |
I love the idea of this Hoop and Thread Stand, and once completed find it to be a very good organizer. However, there are some problems with assembly. None of the holes are large enough for the screws and the pegs. The screw size did not take into account for paint inside the predrilled holes; consequently, each hole had to be reamed out before putting parts together with the screws.
It was also very difficult push the pegs into the pre-driled holes. The second problem is the depth of the grooves for the hoops. Instead of putting the foam strips in the bottom of the grooves, it was needed on the edge to better hold the hoops in an upright position. The grooves for the magna hoop worked out okay. The fact that the thread stand holds 102 spools of thread is a plus as thread is very visible and is easy to organize.
The final product does negate some of the problems.

Embroidery Hoop and Thread Stand |
| By Alice from Spokane, Washington |
This stand looks a lot nicer in the pictures than it is for real. It is flimsy and difficult to put together. Parts just don't fit together the way they should. It is nice to have my thread, stabilizer and hoops organized--but for the price I think it is a rip-off. I think it should be priced closer to $50 instead of $100.

    Eileen's Embroidery Headquarters |
| By Sherry from Lone Wolf, Oklahoma |
Put the dowel pegs in the pre-drilled holes on the stabilizer organizer. What pegs? What pre-drilled hole?? There weren't any. Product did not go together well, wood cracked, pegs did not fit in pre-drilled holes on thread stand. I like the idea, but the product is definitely over-priced (even on sale). I wish I could have purchased a pattern for about $15.00 and had my Son-In-Law make it for me. I'm almost ashamed for him to see this one and definitely won't tell him what I paid.

    Service |

I have ordered many products from Sewforless. I have never found a company that responds quickly with your order, sends tracking info, which is usually within 24 hours.
Being homebound this means so much. Sometimes I am amazed at the turnaround in receiving the products I have ordered.
Sewforless will always be the first place I search and am so glad that there is a company that is customer oriented. Thank you! Janet Thomas
